As Backhaus Captain, I aim to make the Year 12 cohort a tight group, as well as supporting other year levels in bonding and getting to know each other better.
I hope to put lots of time and effort into my role, to maximise House Cup participation whilst balancing the work of Year 12.
Missing out on classes so far has been challenging, however getting to know the other leaders, and helping run major College events, such as Opening Mass, is extremely rewarding.

Being a leader at CMCB is a good opportunity to build my social and communication skills and I am keen to be a voice for other students.
We have started to engage well with Coolock students, and I hope to do this more as the year goes on. A highlight so far has been organising and running fun events at our recent Year 12 Retreat.
I hope together we can win the House Cup for Djaara!
Milla Sherriff, Djaara Captain
I chose to be a leader because I have been involved with leadership through Years 10 and 11, but I want to make a bigger impact this year and create a lasting impression.
A challenge has been missing class time to go engage with the junior campus, but this has already taught me to manage my time out of school better.
I aim to lead my house to the House Cup. We are off to a good start, with MacKillop winning the house day during Year 7 Connect Week. Go MacKillop!
Charlie Bombardieri, MacKillop Captain
Inspired by previous leaders throughout my years at CMCB, I chose to be a leader because it gives me an opportunity to use my voice and be the voice for my peers. I am passionate about including everyone and making sure CMCB is a community where everyone feels like they belong, living our Mercy values whenever possible.
I want to bring my year level close together and make 2026 an enjoyable year for everyone across the College - making school a place where people enjoy coming.
One challenge I have is how to bring my ideas to life, how to make big goals realistic to achieve.
My goal is to create a positive, memorable year for Vincent members, especially for Year 12s, and hopefully lead Vincent to the House Cup win. Go Vincent!
