Welcome and thank you for considering enrolment at Catherine McAuley College Bendigo (CMCB) for the education of your child.

  • Year 7, 2027 enrolments will open online from Monday 23 March 2026.
  • The closing date for Year 7 2027 Enrolments is Friday 8 May 2026.

Opening Our Doors

Wondering what Catherine McAuley College Bendigo has to offer your child? Come and see for yourself! Book to attend one of our Learning Walks (23-30 March and 21-24 April 2026) and Discovery Days (27 April-1 May 2026).

These Learning Walks and Discovery Days replace our Annual Open Day for 2026, so that families can see our classrooms in action and prospective students can have an immersive taste of what student life at our college is like.

Enrolment Policy

Catherine McAuley College Bendigo welcomes enrolment enquiries from all families in Bendigo and beyond who seek a Catholic education for their children. Our College is open and welcoming to all students, regardless of their background and needs, and will seek to do everything possible to accommodate students.

Catherine McAuley College Bendigo strives for strong partnerships with the families and the parishes it serves. Families who choose to enrol their children at Catherine McAuley College do so on the understanding that they are expected to uphold and foster the Mercy Education Values of Compassion, Courage, Hospitality, Justice, Respect and Service. Families will be asked to recognise the importance of Religious Education for their children through supporting the prayer life and other religious celebrations and spiritual development opportunities.

Numbers for each class are set by the College administration in accordance with the Victorian Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 (VCEMEA 2022) as approved by the Fair Work Commission. If there are vacancies, the following priorities are observed:

  • Capacity of the College to accept students;
  • Catholic children who are attending a Catholic Primary School;
  • Catholic children who are attending a local Primary School;
  • Whether a sibling of the child is currently a student of the College;
  • Non-Catholic children currently attending a Catholic Primary School;
  • Other Christian children who attend a local Primary School;
  • Other Christian children who reside outside the local area;
  • Non-Christian children who attend a local Primary School;
  • Non-Christian children who reside outside the local area

Enrolment Process

INFORMATION FOR PARENTS AND CARERS

When completing the online Enrolment Application form, please:

  1. Read instructions on the Welcome page before commencing your submission.
  2. Ensure that you use accurate legal names, details and dates of birth so that we can effectively communicate with you throughout your enrolment journey.
  3. Ensure you have PDF copies of the following documents on the device you are using to complete the application:
  • birth certificate
  • baptism certificate
  • Immunisation History Statement
  • copies of any Court Orders or Parenting Plans
  • for students born overseas, a copy of their passport, visa, immigration and citizenship documentation including visa subclass and date of entry stamp.

Please note that applications cannot be processed without these documents.
