On the final day of term, each campus celebrated an Easter Liturgy, a sacred and reflective moment in the life of our community. This prayerful gathering invited us to pause and remember the sacrifice of Jesus as we journeyed together through the Stations of the Cross.
The Stations were performed by students from the Year 12 Christian Leadership class, whose sincere reflections brought the Easter story to life. Their presentation was beautifully complemented by the moving voices of our choir members, whose singing deepened the sense of prayer and contemplation shared by all present.
At Coolock, the Liturgy also provided an opportunity to celebrate student leadership. We were proud to announce our Year 7 Student Leadership Team, acknowledging these students as they step into roles of service and responsibility within our community. Well done to the below students:
Following the Liturgy at Coolock, students and staff participated in the 7-kilometre Caritas Ks Solidarity Walk along the O’Keefe Trail. This walk was a powerful expression of solidarity with those who are supported through Caritas Australia, reinforcing our commitment to social justice and compassion in action.
Meanwhile, at St Mary’s, the campus embraced the spirit of giving and celebration with a Caritas Carnival at lunchtime. Students enthusiastically took part in a range of activities, raising funds and awareness for Caritas’ Project Compassion while enjoying a vibrant, community-focused event.
Together, these celebrations beautifully marked the end of term, uniting prayer, service and community as we continue to live out our faith through action.
