Well done on the end of a successful Term 1. Students have demonstrated the Mercy value of solidarity in walking together as a group, with teachers and support staff, in Caritas Ks. Please note that the highest funds raised will receive a free pizza lunch. This is hotly contested between three Year 8 Mercy Homegroups and a few others from Years 9 and 7.

Uniform Reminder - (repeat)

Please note that Term 2 is just around the corner and wearing of the College blazer throughout Terms 2 and 3 is compulsory. Students, when in academic uniform, you need to wear your blazer to and from school as well as to and from classes.

Interim Reports

Students have had their behaviour reports released and it’s a valuable time to reflect upon feedback from teachers regarding work habits and behaviour. Please have conversations at home around this, celebrate successes and consider how to build on this for an even better Term 2.

Athletics Carnival

On Tuesday 24 March, students participated in our annual Athletics Carnival. While the weather was inclement at times, the day was a success. Congratulations to our Year 8 Level winners, Emily Harris and Tommy Harrop, as well as McAuley House who were first overall on points for the day.

Camp Update

Mr Hann, Mrs Snyman and Mrs Lethlean would like to say a huge thank you to all parents, carers and support people on sending your children to camp. They were fantastic and the amount of positive feedback from students makes the late nights and early mornings so worthwhile.

“We recently went on camp and it was really fun! We all did all kinds of activities like surfing, bike riding, canoeing, giant swing, high-ropes and many more. I thought the food was good and the night activities were really fun. I made many new friends and learnt so much about my skills and qualities. Overall I thought it was an amazing camp and happy that I went and could spend time with my cohort.” (Ava)
