On Monday 3 August, 25 Year 9 students attended a 'Come and Try Allied Health' day at Bendigo Tech School along with other Year 9 and 10 students from across Bendigo. 

The hands-on experience gave students the opportunity to explore a range of allied health careers, including Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology, Social Work, Allied Health Assistance, Podiatry, Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy. 

Our students also visited La Trobe University, where they sat in a lecture theatre and heard from past students and industry professionals about the clients they work with, the pathways into these rewarding careers, and real-life case studies. The day provided valuable insight into the diverse opportunities available within the allied health sector and was an engaging experience for all involved.
