New Photo Management System: Pixevety

We are pleased to inform our school community that we have introduced Pixevety as our new photo management system.

The safety and privacy of our students are of the utmost importance to us. This change has been made to enhance the security of how student photographs are stored and managed by the College. Pixevety is a secure platform designed specifically for schools and education settings, offering improved protection of student images and personal information.

Pixevety incorporates robust privacy and security measures, and its practices align with guidance from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC). By moving to this platform, we are strengthening our processes for the secure storage and management of photographs taken during school activities, events, and programs.

Important Information for Families

At this stage, Pixevety is being used for internal College purposes only. Families will not have access to the platform, and photographs will not be available for parent viewing or downloading through Pixevety at this time.

The system will simply provide a more secure way for the College to store, organise, and manage photographs of students for approved school-related purposes.

Photo Consent and Opting Out

We recognise that some families may prefer that their child's image is not stored within this system.

If you do not wish for your child's photographs to be stored in Pixevety, please notify the College in writing via info@cmcb.vic.edu.au. We will ensure that your preference is recorded and respected.

If we do not hear from you, we will assume that you consent to your child's photographs being managed through Pixevety in accordance with the College's existing photography and privacy policies.
