Intermediate Boys Soccer

Congratulations to our Intermediate Boys Soccer team, who travelled to Melbourne to compete in the State Finals at Darebin International Sports Centre on Tuesday 1 September.

The boys faced some very strong opposition throughout the day, with results of 0–5, 0-3 and 0-1. Despite the challenging competition and extremely windy conditions, the team continued to compete with dogged determination, supporting each other and representing the school with pride.

The most impressive aspect of the day, however, was the way the boys carried themselves both on and off the field. Their excellent sportsmanship, respect for their opponents and positive attitude were outstanding. 

This was recognised by the opposition teams, who provided fantastic feedback about the sportsmanship displayed by our players.

While the results didn’t go our way, the boys should be extremely proud of the way they represented the school.
