Year 7 News - 17 September

End of Term 3

As we reach the end of another wonderful and busy term, I would like to congratulate our Year 7 students on their enthusiasm, effort, and achievements. Throughout the term, students have embraced a wide range of learning opportunities both inside and outside the classroom. From engaging lessons and assessment tasks to exciting excursions, incursions, and our much-anticipated sports events, it has been fantastic to see students challenge themselves, develop new skills, and build positive connections with their peers and teachers.

Thank you to our families for their ongoing support and partnership throughout the term. I wish everyone a safe, restful, and well-deserved break, and I look forward to welcoming students back refreshed and ready for another successful term ahead.

We’ll see you ready to go for Term 4 and please remember:

  • Summer Uniform
  • Refreshed motivation to learn
  • Charged Laptops
  • Pens and Pencils
  • Diary
  • Best Behaviour: Respectful, Responsible, Kind

In Term 4, you begin the transition to Year 8. Step into this final phase with the courage to step out of or to the edge of your comfort zone … make some new friends, level up your learning, and exceed all expectations.

Mercy Day

We look forward to this whole College event on Friday 18 September - a day of prayer, reflection, fundraising and community.

How tremendous to come together and Live Mercy!

We are reminded of our special place in the Mercy story, and how we are called to live our lives as people of hope, faith and love inspired by Jesus Christ.

Recognition of Achievement Awards- Roll Call 2026

Congratulations to all our recipients of Achievement Awards so far this year. We look forward to celebrating further student success in Term 4, and acknowledging academic growth.

Learning Focus: Food Tech

Proof that your children can cook and clean up! The Food Tech rooms were a busy zone of students cooking spinach and ricotta gozlemes. They looked delicious!
