We chose to become leaders because we are passionate about strengthening our school community and ensuring every student feels valued and included. As Sport and Community Captains, we want to represent student voices and help create opportunities where everyone feels encouraged to get involved in school events and sporting activities.
As Sports and Community Captains, we want to create a school culture where every student feels supported, confident and inspired to try out new things. Sport and community events can bring people together, build friendships and create lasting memories. We are dedicated to promoting teamwork, inclusivity and school spirit, while encouraging students to celebrate one another’s achievements and step outside their comfort zones.
Throughout the year, we aim to introduce engaging and inclusive initiatives across both campuses that strengthen connections beyond the classroom. Our goal is to create lunchtime activities, friendly competitions and community-driven events that increase participation and build a powerful sense of belonging. We hope students can balance their academic commitments while also enjoying the social aspects of school life.
In our role, we are focused on increasing involvement in school sport and creating opportunities for students to connect, compete and have fun. We plan to organise accessible lunchtime activities and community events that provide for a wide range of interests and abilities. Above all, we hope to strengthen school spirit by creating an environment where every student feels confident to participate and is proud to be part of our community.
