Welcome to Term 2. Hopefully you have all had the opportunity to have a restful Easter break.
Uniform
The beginning of Term 2 marks a change in uniform to the winter academic uniform. Please note that the College blazer is a compulsory winter uniform item and must be worn as the top layer (with or without the jumper underneath).
Blazers need to be worn to and from school during Terms 2 and 3. At school, blazers are to be worn for Mercy Homegroup until recess. After this, they can be stored in students' lockers for the rest of the day if they are too hot. The blazer does not need to be worn during break times.
The College tie must also be worn and appropriately leather lace-up shoes (not sports shoes).
Long or short-sleeve shirts must be tucked in. Long pants or shorts may be worn.
Upcoming Events
We are very excited to announce that Year 8 Encounter Day is in Week 5, on Wednesday 20 May. Students will reflect upon the Parable of the Good Samaritan as well as listen to guest speakers and reflect upon their own faith journeys. We will be sharing photos and student reflections in coming editions.
ANZAC Day Liturgy
Students participated in our ANZAC Day liturgy last Friday, reflecting upon the sacrifice and legacy of our war heroes.
Mrs Hayley Lethlean, MrJosh Hann and Mrs Marinè Snyman
