Welcome to the latest updates from the Year 8 Team. As we foster leadership in our cohort, you will notice that there will be items featured that were written by our year level leaders. These will be identified with ‘Student Notice' and the student's name. We are so very blessed to have such an amazing team of young people who continue to step up.
Production
We want to congratulate all of the students and staff who participated in bringing an exceptional experience to the Bendigo community with their production of the musical ‘Rock of Ages’. It has been a fantastic experience for all and thanks must also go to the parents and carers who give their time and support to enable the event to go ahead.
The staff leaders who give up so much time to ensure this also occurs must also be acknowledged. There is a gallery photos to enjoy in this newsletter.
Library Student Advisory Group - Leaders
Well done to our library leaders, Matt Perrin and Xavier Merrett who have put up their hands for all things library. They are amazing students and emerging leaders. Feel free to give them suggestions on any initiative you would like to see in the library.
Seeds of Justice (Student Notice - Chelsea Wilson)
Seeds of Justice is a group available for everyone to join and be a part of. It is run by our three Coolock Faith Captains, with help from Ms Carter.
This term we are focusing on McAuley Family Services and Faith in the school.
Feel free to be a part of Seeds of Justice! Meetings are every couple of Thursdays at Break 2. It’s for everyone, not just SRC members. We hope to see you there.
